Insecurities are eating up my self-esteem.

I have always been interested in fashion bloggers ever since I was in High School. It was my dream to have a closet full of clothes and have multiple pictures of me wearing it. Unfortunately, I don't have the body do that. Haha. Lol!

Hence the title, I have always been insecure of my features and fear of being judged by my appearance. That's why my blog is all about beauty and not fashion. Nonetheless, I just wanted to share to you guys some of the shots I had that my uncle took of me.

This was taken on August 4, 2012. This is what I wore on my mother's seminar in Annabel's, Tomas Morato.

Awkward head tilt over there...

Yes, I am not wearing any shoes! Haha. Our shoes are not allowed inside the house. I didn't crop it though, just keeping it real! Haha.

Blazer from my mom's closet. Hehe.

Dress from Forever 21 | Necklace from Passion For Fashion

Here I am trying to helplessly cover up my big fat arms. It didn't work though. Haha. I really need to diet...

So I guess that's it. I hope you enjoyed my second outfit post in this blog. I'm thinking of doing more of these since I have always loved Fashion. I just hope my insecurities won't take over me!

By the way, this is me being you know... NORMAL.

What do you think of my outfit? Let me know in the comments below. :)
Do you think I should do more of these kind of posts? :-/

Thanks for reading! :)

Formal Event/Party/Work Neutral Eye Make Up

During Wednesdays, I have no classes and I promised myself that I will be productive. Since I have no homework to do, I decided to do a make up look and share it to you guys! :)

Originally, I was supposed to do a remake of Michelle Phan's Formal Event Makeup. Unfortunately, the finish look doesn't look like it was a remake of it. Haha!

Nonetheless, I still took a few shots and realized that it is also a great look for work, formal events, and the like. If you don't want to go overboard and just remain simple on a event, a party, gathering, or work, this is the look for you!

Yes, I really don't put mascara. I hate the feeling most especially when I wear it with my glasses.

Like my look? Here's how you can do it:
1. Do your foundation routine. (Apply foundation, concealer, and the like.)
2. Define your brows.
3. Prime your lids with an eyeshadow primer so the eyeshadows last longer, won't crease and looks more vibrant.
4. Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow in the inner corner to brighten up your eyes and also put it as an over-all wash on the lid.

5. Apply a burgundy or taupey colored eyeshadow on the outer lid to give it dimension.
6. Emphasize your eyelid shape by putting on a shimmery dark brown to the outer V. This will add more dimension again.
7. Apply a gold eyeshadow on the lash line

8. Apply a natural looking blush
9. Line your upper lash line with a thick cat-eye
10. Finish off with a bright lipstick! Why? The eye look is neutral, adding a bright colored lip will balance it out. Neutral eyeshadows look so much better with bright colored lips compared to nude ones.

VOILA! You're done and good to go! :) This look is very versatile. It actually goes with any occasion really.

PRODUCTS I USED:

Urban Decay Naked Pallete, Etude House Perfect Brow Kit, Cinema Secrets Ultimate Blush in Natural, Etude House BB Magic Pact, Revlon Lip Butter in Lollipop, Etude House Sun BB Cream in Sand Beige, Nars Bronzer in Laguna, Maybelline Gel Liner.

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post as I have been when I was creating it. I hope you also learned a thing or two and hope you try this out. :) It's simple and easy!

Make Up Review: Nars Blush and Bronzer Duo + Orgasm and Crépuscule Lip Gloss

Hi everyone! As promised, I'm gonna make a review about this "Hopelessly Devoted" kit by Nars that was given to me by my aunt on my 17th birthday.

I was so happy when I received this because I've wanted this so much and I've been saving for this for approximately 3 months already! I am so lucky indeed.

The packaging looks like this. Simple and cardboard type, and when you slide it, it contains two lip glosses and the blush and bronzer duo.

The packaging is very sleek and compact. The idea of combining these two in one pallete is really great and such a space saver. It has a big mirror too. The only thing I don't like about it is that the texture of the packaging is rubberized, making it easily dirty and attracts dust.

Notice mine in the picture above, I have only been using this product for a week and it's already dirty. :/

The shades in it is Deep Throat (blush) and Laguna (bronzer) I am so happy because this is the EXACT shades I have been wanting!

Here are the swatches of the blush and bronzer. As you can see, the blush is a peachy-pink color, but it's more on the pinky side. It has shimmer but it is not quite noticeable when applied to the skin. While the bronzer is a shimmery brown. The pigmentation is great for a blush and bronzer. You don't actually need way too much pigmentation on these or else you will look like a clown with a bad tan experience! Haha.

Sorry for the change of the photo quality, I used my iPhone in taking the following pictures!

These are the lipglosses that came with them. It has a nice finish and also great texture. It doesn't dry out my lips at all! Love this. I am pretty sure this is not the full size. I think it's the deluxe size or the medium size! It is actually ideal for small make up bags and parties!

NARS Lipgloss in Orgasm and Crepuscule!
As you can see, the Orgasm lipgloss is a pinkish nude color. Perfect for everyday! While the Crepuscle is a dark reddish brown. It is actually opaque for a lip gloss.

All in all, I love this kit. Both the duo and the lipglosses are a must have in my make up stash! :) I am in the shade NC35 and the colors really match my skintone! I'm pretty sure a lot of skin tones will match these as well.

By the way,  notice my pictures? Yes, it is now in high quality! I borrowed my uncle's DSLR and did some product shoot. I have been struggling with my iPhone 4s Camera ever since I started this blog because I find it easier and more convenient. Unfortunately, the pictures are not that nice. So I realized to do blog posts using a DSLR! Hope you guys appreciate the quality of my photos now. :)

Thanks for reading! :)

Stepping out of my comfort zone.

Hi everyone! So I was using my uncle's laptop and found some of my pictures during our "photoshoot" at home. My uncle is a freelance photographer so we decided to play around at home!

These are the shots of my uncle more than a month ago using his DSLR, Nikon D90. I found the raw copies on his laptop and decided to edit it a bit.

I totally forgot about our play "photoshoot" until I found the pictures!

This is my first time doing this, so please, NO HATE <3

Leatherish jacket but not is from Betty, SM Department Store. Dress is from Chill, also from SM Department Store

Earrings are from Greenhills, long statement necklace from Genevieve Gozum

To be honest, this is way out of my comfort zone. I don't have the confidence to post pictures like these, mainly because of haters. I don't have the prettiest face, and especially the skinny body we see in blogs of many famous fashion bloggers. I AM FAT. Hahahaha.

I am not a fashion blogger, but I dream to be one. Maybe if I have the courage and confidence, I could, but it may take a while. Lol. Obviously, as you can see from my blog title, I am an insecure mess. I am insecure of all the pretty and skinny girls, so posting this would take so much guts. Haha!

Connector cross ring from Elaisa's Accesories
And yes, I can't smile and I  pose awkwardly. Sorry for that. Lol.

The reason why I put a watermark/link in my photos is that because this is the ONLY place where I will be sharing this photo. So don't think I feel like someone's gonna steal my photo, that's not what I meant! :)

I had multiple shots but these pictures are the only ones I find nice and presentable... I think? My blog sucks because I only post pictures using my iPhone 4s so it's not the highest quality. This is my first time sharing a high quality photo. I hope when I have the time and money, I will invest in a good camera to take high quality photos!
