Macau Trip: Day One

Hello everyone! Here's a somewhat different blog post because I plan on starting to have a Travel series here! Last July 10 - 13, my mom, sister, Jason's sister, and I had a Macau and HK trip. Besides having a debut, this is also another part of my Mom's gift for me (Yes, I am a very very very lucky girl!)

So I am gonna share with you all some of the pictures I had from my trip with some captions, but I am warning you: THIS IS A PHOTO HEAVY POST.
Here we go! :D

At Ninoy Aquino International Airport

Finally boarding! Here we come, Macau! I was seated next to my sister, Vea

We finally arrived at Macau! We took a taxi on the way to our hotel. Their taxi cabs are different. The front seat is in the left side.

Of course, our first destination would our hotel so we could leave our baggage and check in. Their check in time is at 3 in the afternoon so we had to leave our luggages in the lobby and stroll around for awhile because we arrived in Macau at 12pm.

The Hotel where we stayed at! There are so many friendly Filipino workers here and somehow I didn't miss Philippines at all. (Kala mo naman matagal akong nagstay dun para mamiss ang Pinas. Haha!)

When we strolled around the streets of Macau, we stumbled upon gym equipments outside. Maybe these are for the people who are exercising in the morning outside. :P

Our first stop was Senado Square!

I honestly don't know what's this church called but it's still pretty. :P

St. Paul Ruins: This is probably the main reason why I want my mom to take me to Senado Square! It's such a beauty.

Macau's super duper yummy beef jerky! Gaaah I miss this. I wish I brought some home. This is to die for!

After Senado Square, we went back to the hotel to check in and rested for awhile. Then, our next stop was Macau Tower. Our hotel offers a free shuttle bus wherein they could bring us there. What a convenience, right? I wish Philippines' offers free shuttle buses too so our tourists won't have a hard time reaching tourist spots in our country.

This is the 57th floor of Macau Tower (If I'm not mistaken) this is where we can spot the people who are bunjee jumping. This is like their viewing room. When we went up that tower, this wax figure was the first thing I saw. I was honestly scared of him (obviously from the picture above, I look so awkward)

Me purposely trying to copy Lady Gaga's pose = FAIL

Wassap Lady G!

Macaudayone
Here I am again trying to pose like one of the wax figures again. I don't know here actually... I just wanted to have a picture :P

Macaudayone
On that floor, there was also a transparent floor where you can see everything below. It was totally epic. I was so scared because I might break the class so I didn't dare to step on the center :P

A view of Macau's Skyline at around 7 in the evening. It looks like 5pm, right? But somehow it's different in Macau. It was really a beautiful place and I am very much lucky to have experienced this one of a kind trip. All thanks to my loving mother. I am a very blessed and happy daughter. I honestly couldn't ask for more! <3

And that's it for Day One! I will share the Day Two soon! Won't be sharing Day 3 and 4 mainly because it was our shopping time! I wasn't able to bring my camera so I didn't have any nice shots to post here. :( Nonetheless, hope you enjoyed this post! Until my next one. :)

New Hair Color

Hi everyone! I haven't really been update with this blog nowadays because school is distracting me. Haha. There are so many requirements because it's Midterms week already!

Anyway, I just wanted to share to you my new hair color slash hair disaster. HAHAHA. 3 weeks ago during Christmas vacay, I wanted a different look and I wanted to color my hair a different color. So I bought a hair dye. Apparently, nothing happened and it even darkened my hair. The day after, I went to my Mom's office and asked her if I could have my hair dyed at the salon nearby. I said to the person in the salon that I want to color my hair a different shade. He said that he can't cause from what he can see, I just colored my hair recently... So the dye won't work and my hair might get damaged. -_- He suggested that I should get blonde and gold highlights. When I said, "Sure." I didn't really know what was I in for..... UGH

Okay, I talk too much. HAHAHA here goes nothing... my fail highlights. It actually looked like I'm an old lady with white hair strands :(  Oh well, atleast I tried something new before 2012 ends! :)

So, what do you think of my hair? I appreciate comments! :) I got mixed feedbacks about it. Some people like it, while others really criticized me. Well, it's okay. It's true anyway! LOL

I'm planning to have a new hair color again because I really can't stand this one. What do you think will suit me? :)

Thanks for reading! :)

Touchdown Hong Kong

WARNING: Picture heavy post

If you follow me on Twitter, you would probably know that I just came back from a five-day trip to Hong Kong with my whole family. It was truly a great experience for all of us, especially for me since it was my first time!

I just wanted to share to you guys some of the photos of this magical place. This is quite personal since I always wanted this blog to be something I would look back to. Visiting Hong Kong has always been in my top bucket list, and I'm very happy I've been there already. I am beyond grateful for everything I have. :)

So here are some photos I took:

Christmas tree and chandeliers in our hotel at B.P. International House

Clock Tower in Harbour City (I think, I'm not sure. Hihi.)

Sunset. <3

Symphony of Lights! So pretty, right? I am definitely one of the lucky people to be standing in front of this scenery.

HONG KONG, DISNEYLAND!!! My dream aaaahh

Sleeping Beauty's Castle

Belle during the parade!

Cinderella, of course. She's so gorgeous!

I don't know what's the name of this character, do you? :)

Yup, and that's me. I have so many pictures with the views in Hong Kong which I will share with you guys through an outfit post. Wait for it! :)

In Disneyland, we were given the chance to have our photos taken with the characters. We got a picture with Tinkerbell, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, and Goofy!

And that's it, I made my descriptions and rants as short as possible since this is already a long post because of the heavy pictures. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post. :)

How about you? Have you been to Hong Kong? Comment down below your stories and experiences, I would definitely love to hear from you guys. <3

Halloween 2012: What we did that day

This is actually a personal blog post. I just want to share what we did on the 31st of October. We celebrate our Halloween at Ayala Heights, Quezon City. Their village really puts up an effort in this holiday. They design their homes, host parties, and so much more. We even had a chance to go inside the Haunted House.

Because, this is a once in a year event, we decided to put an effort in our costumes and make up. It's this time of the year that we can basically dress up as anything and anyone we want, without people judging us. We could dress up as our favorite superhero, wear dark bold lips and eye make up, and more.

My uncle has always put effort in these kind of events. He woke up early just to start doing his "special effects" make up. Here's what he looked like when he just started doing his magic!

And here's what he looked like after! Pretty amazing, huh? I don't really understand what he's character is... How about you? What do you think? :)

Here's my cousin dressed up as a Zombie. My uncle also did his make up. It's just tissue, glue and fake blood. :)

My little sister as Jessie from Toy Story

My baby brother as Woody from Toy Story

My cousin as a witch

Daphnie as Belle from Beauty and the Beast

Alexa as a Fairy Princess (She took off her wings when I took a picture of her.)

Alonzo as a Race car Driver

Steph as a Fairy

and me, as Medusa

We basically went creative for this event. A lot of people are dressed up there too. I even saw a family wearing Flinstones costume! This is what my family wore on that event. :)

MORE PICTURES!

And that's it, I hope you enjoyed my blog post!
Thanks for reading. :)

Comments are loved. <3
