Macau Trip: Day One

Hello everyone! Here's a somewhat different blog post because I plan on starting to have a Travel series here! Last July 10 - 13, my mom, sister, Jason's sister, and I had a Macau and HK trip. Besides having a debut, this is also another part of my Mom's gift for me (Yes, I am a very very very lucky girl!)

So I am gonna share with you all some of the pictures I had from my trip with some captions, but I am warning you: THIS IS A PHOTO HEAVY POST.
Here we go! :D

At Ninoy Aquino International Airport

Finally boarding! Here we come, Macau! I was seated next to my sister, Vea

We finally arrived at Macau! We took a taxi on the way to our hotel. Their taxi cabs are different. The front seat is in the left side.

Of course, our first destination would our hotel so we could leave our baggage and check in. Their check in time is at 3 in the afternoon so we had to leave our luggages in the lobby and stroll around for awhile because we arrived in Macau at 12pm.

The Hotel where we stayed at! There are so many friendly Filipino workers here and somehow I didn't miss Philippines at all. (Kala mo naman matagal akong nagstay dun para mamiss ang Pinas. Haha!)

When we strolled around the streets of Macau, we stumbled upon gym equipments outside. Maybe these are for the people who are exercising in the morning outside. :P

Our first stop was Senado Square!

I honestly don't know what's this church called but it's still pretty. :P

St. Paul Ruins: This is probably the main reason why I want my mom to take me to Senado Square! It's such a beauty.

Macau's super duper yummy beef jerky! Gaaah I miss this. I wish I brought some home. This is to die for!

After Senado Square, we went back to the hotel to check in and rested for awhile. Then, our next stop was Macau Tower. Our hotel offers a free shuttle bus wherein they could bring us there. What a convenience, right? I wish Philippines' offers free shuttle buses too so our tourists won't have a hard time reaching tourist spots in our country.

This is the 57th floor of Macau Tower (If I'm not mistaken) this is where we can spot the people who are bunjee jumping. This is like their viewing room. When we went up that tower, this wax figure was the first thing I saw. I was honestly scared of him (obviously from the picture above, I look so awkward)

Me purposely trying to copy Lady Gaga's pose = FAIL

Wassap Lady G!

Macaudayone
Here I am again trying to pose like one of the wax figures again. I don't know here actually... I just wanted to have a picture :P

Macaudayone
On that floor, there was also a transparent floor where you can see everything below. It was totally epic. I was so scared because I might break the class so I didn't dare to step on the center :P

A view of Macau's Skyline at around 7 in the evening. It looks like 5pm, right? But somehow it's different in Macau. It was really a beautiful place and I am very much lucky to have experienced this one of a kind trip. All thanks to my loving mother. I am a very blessed and happy daughter. I honestly couldn't ask for more! <3

And that's it for Day One! I will share the Day Two soon! Won't be sharing Day 3 and 4 mainly because it was our shopping time! I wasn't able to bring my camera so I didn't have any nice shots to post here. :( Nonetheless, hope you enjoyed this post! Until my next one. :)

Weekend at Manila Hotel: A Blessing in Disguise

Last July 28 to 30, 2012, we stayed at Manila Hotel for the whole weekend with my family. I don't really know why because there's no special occasion whatsoever, but we went there anyway.

Just so happens, Bagyong "Gener" (typhoon) visited our country. The rain was pouring hard and the wind was scary during the night. Our maid called us telling our house had no electricity because of the rain. We were very lucky we were staying at Manila Hotel. The rain wasn't continuous throughout those days but it consecutively rained hard for 3 night that classes were already suspended, even us College students.

Anyway, I just wanted to share to you guys what happened to me over the weekend! If you are interested though. :-)

Here is what I wore when we were on our way to Manila Hotel, and when we ate our dinner at MOA's Seaside.

Sorry for the low quality photos, I only used my phone to take pictures and tweaked it a bit using my Instragram app.
White Tank Top from Forever 21
Black Cardigan from Mint
"Tory Burch" thrifted flats from Greenhills
Ring and Bib Necklace from Girl Shoppe

Manila Hotel's Lobby

This is where we ate our dinner at Huey Ying in Mall Of Asia, Seaside.

I think this is Manila Bay! This is the view from Manila Hotel's pool area

Manila Hotel's pool are! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to swim because I have no one to accompany me :-( I don't wanna swim by myself.

So that's it. This was pretty boring but I just want to share this to you guys. I want to make this blog something memorable and something I can look back to that's why I want to share personal rants :-)

How about you? What did you do over the weekend? :-)
Thanks for reading!

Happy 3rd birthday, Gaby! :)

Hi everyone! So this is a personal blog post, and I would just like to share what I did today, June 24, 2012. :) It's my baby brother's 3rd birthday today!

His party was held at my uncle's restaurant and bar, called "Infinity Lounge" in Makati City.

Meet the birthday boy!

My mom rented a snow cone stall, cotton candy and also sorbetes!

YUMMY FOOD.

My mom also rented a hair styling something. This is where kids have their hair done! Even the parents too, and me. Lol.

Spot my brother in the mirror. Haha!

My cousin who had his hair styled and had his hair sprayed.

This is my little sister Rafy, she looks so dalaga. I picked the outfit she wore :)

My bro with his new hairstyle!

This is my mom's bestfriend's son. Lol. So cuteeee.

These are the giveaways.

Taken from Instagram.
This is what I wore earlier. White tank top, blazer, pants, and flats! Nothing fancy. :)

So this is what I did earlier! I had fun at the party. You guys should check out my uncle's resto-bar at Makati. It's in Chino Roces/Pasong Tamo, if I am not mistaken. The  Infinity Lounge offers an all you can eat buffet for 128 pesos! Such an amazing deal, right? :) plus, the food is really good and every peso you spent is worth it. :)

Sorry if this blog entry is full of photos, my laptop is really not cooperating with me right now. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed reading! Thanks. :)
