Vintage

Hello everyone! :) Last week, I had a photoshoot. It wasn't really serious, just for fun actually. But I loved how the photos turned out because it's kinda different from my usual style. :) Our peg was more of a vintage feel. My make up was inspired by Twiggy! I love how it turned out because it has always been my dream to be a model in make up portfolios! All thanks to my make up artist, Tita Alecs Umali. <3

Our peg was a vintage feel so I decided to stick with the classic neutrals, which is black and white. I love how this dress matches our theme for that day. Also, did I tell you guys that I love open-back clothing? It screams sexy and classy all in one without having to show too much skin! :) Anything open-back is a must have for me!

This is Kookai. One of my mom's friend's daughter. She's so pretty! She was also with me during the photoshoot. Would you believe she's not wearing any makeup? She absolutely defines natural beauty! :)

This is Tito Robert Silfavan. He's the genius behind my debut venue. He created a masterpiece on my special day which I will show to you guys real soon! :)

And of course, the woman behind the art on my face, Tita Alecs Umali. <3 She's absolutely great! :)

That's it for now. Making this post as short as possible because I still have to memorize my Talumpati for my Filipino 102 class. Wish me luck! :)

Until my next post.

Butterfly Make Up

Hello everyone! Yesterday, I was cleaning my laptop files and I found these pictures. I figured out that it's blog-worthy in a way so I decided to share them to you.

A few weeks back, my sister and my cousin told me to turn them into a butterfly. I agreed because I love experimenting! So here's the turn out...

I only used black gel eyeliner, eye shadow and highlighter to complete this look. I was overwhelmed that it turned out pretty good, don't you think? No? Okay... LOL haha kidding!

So, what do you think about the butterfly make up I did? It actually looks more of a face paint but you get my point :p

PRODUCTS USED:
Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Black
MAC Pigments (Pink and Blue)
MeMeMe Beat the Blues Highlighter in Moonbeam

...and that's it! :) Thank you for reading!

Make Over: "Falsies"

Hi everyone! Here's another make over I did to my best friend  Rochelle. We bonded and I decided to photograph her, plus practice my make up skills at the same time. Haha.

Bare faced - 0% make up on

With foundation, setting powder and defined eyebrows.

There's not much of a big difference actually, but her skin tone evened out. Since I will be using flash photography on her, I used a foundation that has low SPF to avoid having a white cast in her pictures.

I then applied tape on the sides of her eyes forming a cat eye. I decided to use purple hues for her eye shadow for a more fun yet smokey look.

I also applied a baby pink lipstick on her since she said the red lipsticks don't match her.

Since she doesn't have long lashes, I added false eyelashes on her. It's my first time to actually try to apply one. It was so easy! Never really thought it was. It completed the whole look! :)

Here's the final look! What do you think?
I'm open to suggestions and comments :)

Thanks for reading!
Much love,
Iyah

Make Over: Melody

Hi everyone! I just wanted to show you guys the make over I did for my good friend. We were just fooling around in the house and I decided to give her a makeover!

Here are the before and after shots

I opted for a "mataray" look because I want to give her a new look! I think it suits her ;)

LOL, and then there's me. Make Up Artist ang peg. Hahaha.

Because her lashes are short and thin like mine, I decide to have a double-wing eyeliner to give an illusion much more fuller lashes since I don't have glue to put on some falsies on her.

PRODUCTS USED:
Covergirl NatureLuxe Foundation in 320
MAC Studio Fix (used as setting powder)
Etude House Perfect Brow Kit
Urban Decay Naked Pallete (Sin, Half Baked, Toasted and Hustle)
Revlon Lip Butter in Red Velvet
The Face Shop Face it Eyeliner Pen

...and that's it! What do you think of the look I created? Comments are loved! :)
XOXO

Make Over: Erica

Hi everyone! I am finally back to blogging about Beauty and Fashion. I have been depressed and unoccupied for three weeks already and thought that I need something to do to help me recover and forget the pain for even just a while...

My friends have always been caring and supportive. They did their best in order to make me feel better from what had happened. What more could make me feel better than make up? Haha. My bestfriend, Erica let me do her make up so I wouldn't be so depressed and I photographed some of her outfits. :)

She has a fashion blog, check it out! :) She posts regularly and I love her style! :)

I did a neutral make up on her, nothing too fancy but it suits her well.
