RAVE: Can't get enough of Revlon's Colorburst Lip Butters!

Revlon's ColorBurst Lip Butters has been a recent hype and rave in the Youtube world of many beauty gurus. Since I have always been concerned about products, I wanted to try it out. I also read a lot of positive reviews about this product, that's why I didn't hesitate to order one.

According to Revlon...

"Buttery balm with beautiful shiny color to give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips 94% of women felt lips were softer, smoother, and instantly hydrated."

If you are someone who loves to wear lipstick and still have smooth, soft and hydrated lips, then who would even say "no" to that statement?

I purchased these babies from Stuff in Style for 320 pesos. Our local drugstore outlets that has a Revlon counter sells this as well, but it is priced at 525 pesos. So if you want to purchase this, I suggest you just order from Stuff in Style instead because it is definitely cheaper.

Don't worry, this online shop carries US Authentic Cosmetics! Just a heads up for those who are worried about buying fake make-up.

I already have two lip butters before these three, so that is why I wanted to get more because I had loved it so much.

Lip Butters in Red Velvet, Raspberry Pie & Lollipop. Don't you just love the yummy names? :-)

The packaging is similar to their Colorburst lipsticks which is a quilt-like pattern but this one is colored and translucent. It automatically indicates the color. If you don't know the ColorBurst lipsticks I am referring to, here is a picture and also a short information about it in Revlon's website: CLICK HERE.

Drugstore make up brands don't often have boxes for lipsticks, but I'm glad they are sealed for protection.

These are all the lip butters I have! Including the old ones I had two months ago.
Respectively; Raspberry Pie, Red Velvet, Cherry Tart, Lollipop, Sweet Tart.

All these lip butters have shimmer, but it is not too noticeable when applied on the lips. You can never expect these to be matte during application as it is a lip butter, which means it has the consistency of a lip gloss, lip balm and lipstick put together in one tube.

Raspberry Pie lies between the color of a fuchsia and a red.

Red Velvet is a dark reddish shade with brown tones.

Cherry Tart is a bright red. This one has the most shimmer.

Lollipop is a fuchsia color. Simple as that, but it gives a whopper of a statement.

Sweet Tart is a bright and bold light pink color. This one is my favorite. :-)

This picture actually annoys me. It is not in a landscape position. :-( I actually took this using my iPhone because my Nikon D90 is so hard to use when taking close up shots. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed my photos! :-)

PROS:
- It definitely lives up to it's claim. My lips gets really dried up when using lipsticks, even high-end ones like Mac, but this one does not. It really softens, smoothens, and hydrates my lips!
- Has a variety of shades that ranges to nudes, pinks, reds, orange, and even browns. Has 20 shades.
- The colors are very wearable despite the fact that some colors are very bold.
- Cheap! :-) Hooray!

CONS:
- Because of the buttery consistency, it easily sticks to coffee mugs, glasses, and the like when you drink.
- Doesn't contain a lot of product :-( I think the bullet is only 2 inches? I'm not sure though. By the way, the pictures shown above is not the exact length of the bullet, it is much more longer. I just don't want to expand it too much as it might break or something. Haha!

So, I think that's all I can say. That's about it so far! Haha. All in all, I love this product. This is my favorite lipstick ever. I'd give up MAC over these babies. ;)

Hope you find my review informative. Thank you for reading! :)

Urban Decay's Naked Pallete, Is It Worth The Hype?

I've been wanting the Naked Pallete ever since I started to explore the creative world of make up, and the wonderful website called, "Youtube." This is where I learned how to apply make up, to try different  looks, different products from both drugstore & high-end, and that is when I realized that I love make up. All thanks to the beauty gurus all over YT. :)

That is the main reason why I created this blog: My love for make-up.

Since I am a make up lover, I couldn't get enough. I have heard way too much positive reviews and raves about this pallete and I wanted to get one myself. I WANTED THIS SOOO BAD. I hesitated to buy one, and hesitated more and more in about more than 6 months. I searched for trusted sellers because there's no Sephora (A popular make up store international) here in the Philippines. I am also worried I might get a fake one if I order from Sulit or Multiply or maybe even Facebook, but thank God, I came across to this wonderful make up online shop, Stuff in Style.

Nonetheless, I finally gave in and purchased it with the birthday cash I received a few weeks ago.

THE NAKED PALLETE!!!

Here are the swatches respectively: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half-baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal.

All in all, I love this pallete. Despite of it's price, (2,700 php) I can say it's definitely worth it. Double thumbs up for this baby :)

I would recommend this pallete if:
1. You have extra money to spend in your stash
2. You love shimmery and neutral colors
3. You want to own a versatile pallete that is travel-friendly
4. You love ultra-pigmented,  soft, creamy & velvety eyeshadow formulas

PROS:
1. The colors are super pigmented. You're really paying for it's quality.
2. Very versatile. You can use it anytime, anywhere and during any occasion. Whether it's an office look, an afternoon date with your girlfriends, a dinner date with your boyfriend, or even a party smokey eye look during the night!
3. A joy to apply!
4. Very long lasting, especially if used with the UDPP. Without UDPP: More or less 3-5 hours. With UDPP: 5-8 hours.
5. Comes with a high-quality brush.
6. Travel-friendly packaging (Lightweight, durable, easy closing and opening)

Of course, even though I swear by this product, we still have to consider the cons as well, right?
CONS:
1. Too shimmery and glittery (A no-no if you hate these kind of eyeshadow formulas)
2. Doesn't have a decent share of matte colors (It only has two matte colors: Naked and Buck)
3. Expensive for an eyeshadow pallete (Even though it's still worth it, you may kind of hesitate at first like me.)
4. When applied, some of the glitters of the eyeshadows may fall out, but this can be fixed with a fan brush!
5. Even though the packaging is travel-friendly, the velvet texture of the packaging can get really dusty and dirty.

So I think that's it. I will edit this if I have something to add.

I would also like to thank Ms. Windy from Stuff in Style. She is very nice to coordinate with. She is very friendly and responds fast to orders. I sent my payment the day after I ordered, I sent her a picture of the payment slip and she shipped the item already without having to receive the payment first. So I was surprised when I got my pallete the day after! Very fast transaction and she is definitely a trust-worthy seller!

If you want to buy US Authentic make up, then visit her site and you won't regret it. :)

She was also kind enough to send me a sample of Skin79 BB Cream. :)

Bonchon: Is It Worth The Hype?

Everybody has been raving about BonChon for quite some time now. I see a lot of people tweeting that they have been craving to eat at BonChon again or they are currently eating with their friends, family and even having a date there.

The rave that it has been getting is similar to Happy Lemon, a now famous milk tea place! BonChon has many customers and people really put effort in lining up in the counters just to get their orders, but, is it really worth the hype?

Because I am a keen observer and I am very curious, I tried it myself. I think their first branch was in Greenbelt. I was happy when I saw a BonChon branch near my place. (Il Terrazzo Mall, Tomas Morato)

So, we paid a visit there and decided to check out what the hype was really all about!

The ambience is fine, not the five star restaurant type, so I would think it's some sort of a classy fast food. Haha! Their price range was also very affordable for the quality of food you will be getting. So, that's a plus. ;)

So we decided to order. This is the only picture I took of the food because I was busy eating! They don't have too much food on their menu though. You just have to select which part of chicken you would like to have. (ex. Wings, Thighs, Breast, Drumstick.) and decide if you want to have it spicy or garlic flavored.

My personal favorite was the Chicken Chop, made of chicken breast. Since I am a huge white meat fan, I loved it! I also love their squid. This is not your ordinary and typical type of fried chicken, this is sweet, flavorful, and very crispy!

Overall, I honestly loved my food. If you are a sweet tooth like me, you will definitely love to try this. Definitely worth the hype, I must say!

Thanks for reading. :)
