Amici and Caramia (Lolo's Birthday Celebration)

Last September 13, 2012, we celebrated our lolo's birthday. Here is the food blog post as I've promised in my previous Outfit Of The Day.

So we had our family dinner at Amici. It is located in Bellagio Square, Tomas Morato cor Sct. Fuentebella South Triangle, Quezon City. One thing great about this restaurant is that there's also an ice cream parlor! Which is Caramia. They have lots of yummy and unique gelato, ice cream cakes, and more!

Red velvet cupcakes? Yes. RED VELVET ICE CREAM? Double yes!!

Look at all the yummy flavors!
Mozarella Fritto - PHP 215.00

This is my favorite in Amici, The Mozarella Fritto. Yummers. :)

Margherita - PHP 315.00

Spinach Linguine Alla Puttanesca Pasta - PHP 240.00

This is what I ate. Look, the pasta's green! Haha. This is really good!!

MORE GELATOOOOOOOO

This is my cousin, Jewel. I just wanted to share this because I like her make up. Haha. She's only six years old, btw.

Mango Tango - PHP 75.00

So there, that's it. We ate more food than what I had shared but I was too busy eating that I wasn't able to take a picture. Haha. If you love italian food & ice cream, then you'd definitely love it here. :)

Thanks for reading!!
XOXO :)

Monster Meal Deal Overload at Shakey's!

So yesterday, 12th of June 2012, we decided to have our lunch at Shakey's in E. Rodriguez, Quezon City. One of the reasons we want to eat there is the Fun Zone area, wherein my siblings can play around.

Plus, we ordered the Monster Meal Deal promo or something of Shakey's.
* This photo is not mine. Credits go to its rightful owner.

The ambience is nice, just a typical Shakey's restaurant. I love the fact that they made a Fun Zone area for the kids to enjoy.

So basically, the Monster Meal Deal composes of a large plate of Carbonara,

Pepperoni Pizza (Thin Crust, which what Shakey's is famous for)

One large platter of Spaghetti

A lot of chicken and mojos!

Another pizza.

And garlic bread!

These meal also comes with drinks. I love that Shakey's thought of this idea. If you don't want to spent a lot of money and still feel bloated and satisfied with your meal, this is the way to go! Perfect for family get togethers, or having a simple celebration with a number of friends.

Nice one, Shakey's! ;)

Went Chinese for Lunch at King Bee

Hi, this is another food blog post! Sorry if I have been overflooding you guys with food posts lately, we just love to eat at restaurants and fast food areas, especially during the summer. But I promise you, I will soon do make up reviews, tutorials, fashion and other girly things! :)

Anyhow, earlier this afternoon, we had our lunch at King Bee at Seneca Building in Quezon City. It's along E. Rodriguez.

Crab and corn soup.

Chicken Feet.

Beef and Broccoli.

Sweet and Sour Pork.

Hakaw.

Mango shake!

The food is delicious and the price is okay. Kinda more on the expensive side though.

Sorry guys if I wasn't able to state the prices, I can't find their menu online :/
Anyway, I love international food so I enjoyed my meal. :)

Bonchon: Is It Worth The Hype?

Everybody has been raving about BonChon for quite some time now. I see a lot of people tweeting that they have been craving to eat at BonChon again or they are currently eating with their friends, family and even having a date there.

The rave that it has been getting is similar to Happy Lemon, a now famous milk tea place! BonChon has many customers and people really put effort in lining up in the counters just to get their orders, but, is it really worth the hype?

Because I am a keen observer and I am very curious, I tried it myself. I think their first branch was in Greenbelt. I was happy when I saw a BonChon branch near my place. (Il Terrazzo Mall, Tomas Morato)

So, we paid a visit there and decided to check out what the hype was really all about!

The ambience is fine, not the five star restaurant type, so I would think it's some sort of a classy fast food. Haha! Their price range was also very affordable for the quality of food you will be getting. So, that's a plus. ;)

So we decided to order. This is the only picture I took of the food because I was busy eating! They don't have too much food on their menu though. You just have to select which part of chicken you would like to have. (ex. Wings, Thighs, Breast, Drumstick.) and decide if you want to have it spicy or garlic flavored.

My personal favorite was the Chicken Chop, made of chicken breast. Since I am a huge white meat fan, I loved it! I also love their squid. This is not your ordinary and typical type of fried chicken, this is sweet, flavorful, and very crispy!

Overall, I honestly loved my food. If you are a sweet tooth like me, you will definitely love to try this. Definitely worth the hype, I must say!

Thanks for reading. :)

Dinner at Chili's

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share you guys where I had my dinner with my family earlier this evening.

We went to Chili's restaurant in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.

We decided to order different meals instead of one meal per person so we can share and taste more food. :)

Chicken Crispers (Php 300)
I love this stuff! It's made of chicken breast and I'm a huge white meat lover. The chicken is cooked to perfection. It's so smooth, soft, and flavorful.
Wings Over Buffalo (Php 410)
Bottomless Tostada Chips (Php 330)
Yes, you read it right. BOTTOMLESS. Woohoo!
Unlimited chips for only 330 bucks?! Such a crazy but great deal, right? :D Haha!

Cajun Club (Php 395)

Closer view of the Cajun chicken clubhouse sandwich.
All in all, the food is very good. Two thumbs up! I know it's quite pricely but the money you are paying for is definitely worth it, and it's a restaurant anyway. Their serving size is also good for 2-3 people per meal. My tummy is satisfied once again! :)

Bonding with the boys

Hi everyone! So this is another food blog post and sort of a "Day in the Life of Iyah" post as well.

So, we went to Trinoma to watch the Snow White & the Huntsman. It was actually a good movie! I am not an avid fan of action and serious movies, but I liked it. It's not bad, it's not great, it's good, but I cannot say it was a must watch! All in all, you will still enjoy it if you watch it & you will not fall asleep. Haha!

I was with my two cousins and my two uncles. So, it really is a day to bond with the boys.
This is my 13 year old cousin, newly circumcised lol

We got tickets to see the movie at 10:25pm which is the last full show. The movie house is literally really full, lol.

So it was only 8pm and we strolled around Trinoma. We then hung out at Mrs. Fields.

I ordered Iced Caramel Macchiato (Php 130) and One Dozen of Cookie Nibblers (Php 120, I think.)

I love their slogan!

Since we haven't eaten our dinner yet, we decided to eat the Trinoma's fast food area. The only reason we want to eat there because there's PEPPER LUNCH!!! So, we ate our dinner at Pepper Lunch... it's supposed to be Pepper Dinner lol, jk. Corny. Haha.

My tito & Jorel ordered the Beef Teriyaki for each of them(Php 188)
If you guys haven't tried Pepper Lunch yet, it's a must! As you can see from the pictures, the food looks raw, and yes, it still is. The only reason that it's that way because you're supposed to mix it like a fried rice until it's cooked! The plates are very hot and sizzling so be careful though. And after that, it tastes like HEAVEN, I tell you. Lol.

For me and Jober, we each ordered the Chicken Pepper Rice (Php 145) This is our personal favorite!

This is what the food looks like when mixed all together.

So, there, this was just a simple food blog post and mini review! Hope you enjoyed reading.

Thank you. :)

College Orientation

So today, 8th of June 2012, I attended my first college orientation at Trinity University of Asia! Since the slip the Registrar said "Attendance is a must", I really made an effort to go. It also said that we must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Since my mom was busy, I asked a favor from my Tito Mhike to come with me instead.

So here he is... Obviously he's fooling around & not listening at the speaker! Lol.

But before we went to TUA, I dolled up myself first. Hihi.

Here's a quick FOTD (Face of the Day)

Make up products used:
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup in "Cheers to Me", Champagne
MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC35
MAC Blacktrack Gel Liner
ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
ELF 100 Endless Eyeshadow Pallete (I used neutral colors, e.g., Brown, Gold, White, Champagne, etc.)
ELF Lip Stain in "Fashionista"

SOOOOO ANYWAYY... MOVING ON! Hahaha.

The orientation was held at the Mandell Auditorium of the school. Which is here:

I know he looks serious but he's just playing with his phone. Haha.
So after the orientation, we went to my cousins' house to pick them up. We drove over to Makati and decided to have some snacks at Domino's Pizza Place in Pasong Tamo. We didn't intend to have a full meal because we ate a couple hours ago already.

This is their price list. It's very affordable! Plus, you can mix different flavors in one pizza.
This is the potato pizza! It's 299 for 4 slices.

The left side is their "Extravaganza" Pizza, which is like a Meat and Vegetable Supreme, and the right side is their unique Potato Pizza! Made of Potato wedges, mayonnaise, corn, onion and mushrooms!

All in all, we were satisfied with what we ate. Especially me! I love their Potato pizza! And oh, I forgot, did you know that they sell 4 slices of thin crust pizza for 49 pesos only? It's cheap, but it's worth-it. Perfect for those who love thin crust pizzas, which I am not a fan of though, too bad. Haha!
